Same behaviour here. Already after about 6000 pages, the rendering gets very slow (about 2min on a 2019 high end spec laptop). A fix would be super welcome!

Any tips on where to start a "dig in" to find the bottleneck, would be great! e.g. hints on where to best insert a timer into the generator, to measure...
