Theoretically yes. The host [knows where to look for the Buku database](https://github.com/samhh/bukubrow-host/blob/53ec32e6c6e78a4adf429dd553be628516078113/src/buku/utils.rs#L13) but that path could hypothetically come from the extension configuration.

I think there's better handling of error messages in the PureScript rewrite but I honestly can't remember. I'll keep this open because it's certainly something to improve.
