Galleria is unmaintained (last commit from 2020) and I'm not aware of a fork that would be community maintained.

Hmm this has been fixed a while ago : https://github.com/saimn/sigal/commit/29f69bc55caf40798fd00c2beac31b8a2826d8e9 And sigal currently requires Python 3.8 or later; so not sure which version you are installing/using ?
