I tried to refactor the src/main/views/downloads Dropdown Menu View.ts and src/renderer/downloadsDropdownMenu.tsx files so that the DownloadsDropdownMenu internal shape resizing event sends its dimensions to DownloadsDropdownMenuView, but this will not work...
