Just confirming this is still an issue. I actually ran into this while writing unit tests in my own application and cross verifying using a different online coordinate conversion tool....
I also ran into this and was confused. The `LLtoUTM(lat, lon)` method also has negative northing values. Apparently northing values in the southern hemisphere are negative, unless "false northing" is...
