@jckkvs can you make the required updates here? I'll be closing this next week if it doesn't get resolved and pushing fixes on my own.

@xmnlab the PR still hasn't been updated by the person who submitted it. I'll work to re-create the PR myself and push it through next week

we are working on https://github.com/stanfordmlgroup/ngboost/pull/296 and I'll publish 3.13 once merged

we published 0.3.13 and verified this was resolved

Just a suggestion but I think it would be nice as part of this PR to add to the distns test here for the new dist: https://github.com/stanfordmlgroup/ngboost/blob/master/ngboost/tests/test_distns.py
