Any update on this? I think `crypto` supports `ed25519` now. 

This issue is related to text/screen scaling as it doesn't occur when I set font scaling to 1.00 using gnome-tweaks. Related: https://github.com/electron/electron/issues/9477 I'll work on a workaround

Unfortunately ran out of time and wasn't able to finish testing it so closing this pr.

@goosewobbler Seems to work properly now. Tested on Ubuntu 22.10 with AppImage and .deb installs.
