Download is very slow
Hi ! Thanks for the fantastic dataset and the hard work! My concern is not a bug in itself; it is more of a usage issue. I am currently downloading the spagna train dataset with your downloader, and in about 2 hours, I have only been able to download 10 rosbags. I wanted to ask if this is the normal speed supported or if I could increase the download speed somehow. Thanks in advance and thanks again for the great work put into this dataset.
Hi, thank you for your interest! Currently, our Python package is the fastest way to download our sequences. Two hours to get 50% of the sequence is too long :sweat_smile:. We will let you know if we find anything unusual on our server!
Thanks for looking into this and let me know if there is any update. Also, I wanted to ask if there is a plan to do a vision-only benchmark on your dataset. I think it would be great for the community, due to the different environments and challenges that your dataset presents, to easily observe how different sensor modalities perform, but I also understand that it takes a lot of work to set these up.
We are currently working on extending the dataset with an explicit focus on vision applications :smile: Stay tuned!
