Assuming this is still an issue in current Superset? I'm trying _again_ to spin up a test environment, but hoping @kgabryje can help test/review as well.

I use apple silicon, and it's entirely compatible. I just `docker-compose up` and I'm off to the races.
Ahh... that usually means you just need to throw more memory at it. Docker uses half your system's memory by default, but you can ramp it up in the Docker...
I think @betodealmeida's change request is blocking it. It looks like CI will need to run again, but there seem to be a few unanswered questions on the thread. @SkinnyPigeon...

@Joel-Haeberli we were checking in on that PR still, but is this still an issue at all as of Superset 3.x? We'll leave it open for now.
Closing as stale. This issue is quite old, but if perchance you still face it, we can revisit/reopen as needed.
