byobu is a terminal multiplexer just like screen, tmux, zellij etc. Shox IS NOT a terminal multiplexer it is simply a status bar for the terminal which can be used...

Did you ensure "groups" and "Sudo" is installed . You can install them by running: Sudo Pacman -s Sudo groups
