I second that! For me, a lot of issues would be resolved when this fork of webix gets updated to the latest version.

Storing it in the proxy is not enough, because a new proxy is created every time. Storing it in the view itself does the trick.

I also really need this fix. My entire application is broken after upgrading to L7. Could this please be merged? It's been almost a year... I've also tested this in...
