The change looks good to me. However, I can't assess the potential impact of these additional changes on other use cases. Let's test it through the alpha process.

Google Maps surprisingly provides a good cycling view with highlighting marked cycle lines:

There is one know issue: the STOP button in the notification doesn't remove the blue dot button from the menu. @kavikhalique , please fix it via separate PR.
