Well, they (Discord) made updates that make changes on the code. So, this version is not updated yet, and the author isn't active yet for contribution more than 2 years....
Well try install/reinstall **Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2015**. Because it requires to run the app.
Make sure your Discord apps login into other account. The apps is still connected with your original account as discord login and only one app per account use.
