Thank you @alallema and @curquiza for your assistance! Using your instructions, I was able to upgrade without any problems!
Update: After a long time, perhaps 30 minutes, I was able to run _xeno list_ without it hanging. It now appears that it is syncing again, but _xeno list_ insists...
