Timeline for Superflore generation scheme 3

Hello!

I have no clue what it is, but it seems to be blocking the ability to build ros1 and ros2 with a bridge in one yocto image. Cf. https://github.com/ros/meta-ros/issues/994 We would need such functionality, the question is: is it being worked on? Is there some time when you can expect it to be ready? Can I contribute somehow?

Hello Herb @kuta42,

Since you were the last one to commit: meta-ros seems dead. Me and my company are probably willing to put in some effort. What are the chances to get meta-ros up to date and rolling again?
