review merging asmach out of linux_networking
It may not be mergeable but wanted to raise the idea. It doesn't really seem to be in the right home in linux_networking.
Yeah, I've been wondering about that ever since I came across it. Blaise never mentioned to me when he was writing it, and I haven't looked into the specific modifications he made.
I think I did actually ping you about it. But it was long ago.
The only difference is that asmash is asynchronous rather than threaded using the twisted framework. At the time the differences were pretty small from what I recall.
It is really here as a dependency of multi_interface_roam. I probably only touched the stuff I was using, so not clear if it is ready for promotion.
