ROS Melodic release
Is this planned?
This package blocks e.g. Turtlebot release https://github.com/turtlebot/turtlebot/issues/272
This not being released into melodic is a big issue for a lot of people who'd like to do a migration.
as @vrabaud is noted as maintainer in the package.xml, it be great to get some feedback from him on any release plans for openslam_gmapping as well as ros-perception/slam_gmapping.
Ideally, #20 could be intgerated directly? :smiley:
I'd like to +1 the questions from @mgruhler and @130s: What are the plans on releasing this?
I am also having problems with this.
