In the section "Projection basis"-"Normalization", according to your paper, $B_{\alpha\beta }=\sum_i b_\alpha (\mathbf(x)(t_i))b_\beta (\mathbf(x)(t_i)) (\Delta t /\tau)$, but in your guidance, $b_\beta (\mathbf(x)(t_i))$ is missing.
