Vote for it! AFAIK Mono 4 have Mono Microsoft.Build.Utilities.v4.0 (libmono-microsoft-build-utilities-v4.0-4.0-cil package on Debian).

It's a common sense, but if there is a way to build against various .NET versions (?), then shipping several binary versions for each release would do the job.

Same issue here: Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2019 Version 16.11.2 Note that standard "Git Changes" window in VS demonstrate same behaviour.

Can the DNN [UserContoller.GeneratePassword()](https://github.com/dnnsoftware/Dnn.Platform/blob/289e55c19db33301838a7e6a9780ae7b2cd0e542/DNN%20Platform/Library/Entities/Users/UserController.cs#L563) be used for this?
