Weird, all Android ROMs are expected to have `screenrecord` available.
In theory, yes, a static build including the relevant parts of ffmpeg and sdl. In practice, it's not done. See https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy/issues/818#issuecomment-625976482
You can capture/uncapture the mouse by pressing Alt. So uncapture the mouse and close the window.

If you record (`scrcpy --record file.mp4`), is there the same problem on the recorded file? If so, try with another encoder:https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy#encoder
Or try with a lower resolution (`scrcpy -m1024`).
Is the recorded file "broken" ?
