I wanted to use this for a project I'm working on, but I didn't see a license on it. is it open source/licensed?

Hi Johanos,

Thanks for your interest. There's an Asset Store package underway that contains an optimized version of this shader so it performs better on the actual HoloLens device. When it is available I will add a license to this repository that allows non-commercial use. For commercial use you are invited to purchase the package from the Asset Store.
