As far as I remember the document with the newly set pretty url will be saved and routing works fine. Maybe I can come up with a PR next week....
IMHO still a problem, that needs to be fixed.

So it's completly separated from shared translations? Or the same data, but display from within the tag management?
I closed #6406 since it sounds like you're planning to move things in a whole different direction
