ergoCub 1.3 S/N:002 – Left wrist started in hardware fault for no apparent reason

Open S-Dafarra opened this issue 4 months ago • 1 comments

Robot Name 🤖

ergoCub 1.3 S/N:002

Request/Failure description

Today when turning the robot on, the left wrist was in hardware fault. Checking the log, I was not able to understand the cause of the fault, and I was not able to recover it from the motorgui.

After rebooting the yarprobotinterface and the motors, the wrist worked again.

Detailed context

Here the full log

Hi @S-Dafarra , you are right, it seems that the joint 4 (wrist yaw) cannot calibrate due to the and hw fault, but the regarding log message is missing.

For sure, we can improve the diagnostic info of this message to provide the info on which board it is happening:

[ERROR] unable to complete calibration: joint 0 in 'hw_fault status' inside doneRaw() function.

I'll do it asap. I need to update this raw. (as a note for me 😸 )
