I am using blueZ version 5.39. Restarting the daemon does not have any affect on the problem. I did downgrade from bluez 5.4 so I guess it is possible there...
Just stumbled on this issue as I use home row mods . Seems this will be an issue for anyone wanting to use home row mods. A fix to this...
