I believe this is an issue with Flutter (the library Cake uses). See [flutter#153560](https://github.com/flutter/flutter/issues/153560). I have encountered the same behavior with Localsend which also uses Flutter. [localsend#2084](https://github.com/localsend/localsend/issues/2084) Perhaps the workaround...
