As pointed out by @anuraghazra in one of our conversations, it looks like APIs, unlike libraries, can't have that kind of versioning which is unfortunate. The commits are the versions.

@anuraghazra I tried updating the dependencies and changing the SVG syntax (i.e. removing commas between the `stop` elements and changing the query selection syntax), but I couldn't find the cause.

@mjovanc Thanks for your feature request. There already exist several PRs that give the desired behaviour (see #1785 & #1010). We, however, did not yet find the time to look...
