I've opened up a PR purely based on David's research above (and a bit of [mine](https://github.com/n27051538/solaris_exporter/blob/master/solaris_exporter.py#L724)), which should address this bug.
I can work on that if @SuperQ is +1, and @tjhop has no plans in the near future to take this up.
