I think `preserveSymlinks` can sometimes solve this (or at least similar problems) but that's not really solution to the underlying problem.

I haven't solved it yet, but there is also a similar issue https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript/issues/48212 with a milestone of [TypeScript 4.8.0](https://github.com/microsoft/TypeScript/milestone/163). Let's hope it will be solved soon.

Duplicate rendering of png image

I can confirm this problem. Converting the PNG to an JPEG fixed this, but this is not really a good solution.
