thats not a good idea, because you maybe want to setup a slider or dashboard with pre defined settings. Your data can arrive later where min and max can change...

I noticed the bug already. The field is still selected, but the edit form doesnt show which field is currently selected. I will fix this bug in future releases. Thanks
