Something similar happened to me. In my case, I didn't read the docs & ended up in an infinite loop saving the database to Proton Drive & making a backup...

Deleting the saved credentials with Windows Credential Manager as mentioned in other bug reports does not solve the problem, still get "error (10013): Invalid refresh token".

Ok, after I deleted the saved credentials, I had to go through the login procedure using the ProtonDriveSync Settings... menu under the Tools menu, then it worked. It didn't work...
