The 2.4.4 update is build from this branch https://github.com/rasmuslos/ShelfPlayer/tree/duration-fix which is based of 2.4.3 and only includes the bug fix
Are the books visible in the "Library" tab of the app?

Hey, are you using the same device when you are running and when sitting in the car?
Can you try this in the official app or the web client? I would guess that you have an issue with the audio file.
This is helpful, the issue seems to be with downloading files. Can you download them again to check if it was a one-of thing?
