I am having the same issue, is there a status update on this?

I am experiencing the same issues with 3000 records, it takes ~6-11s to build the list initially.

I ran into the same issue, ended up manually adding it in ```whackage.json``` ``` "react-native-generic-text": "../react-native-component-boilerplate-master" ```
