@BrandonArmand Can you review and merge this PR #61 ?

This issue seems to be similar to: https://github.com/jekyll/jekyll/issues/6191 `class="err"` is added while converting markdown to html for the particular JSX block. Issue seems to be with GitHub's automatic page generator.

You're using 3.1.0 version of Tribute. The changes for event listeners are present in 5.1.0
