We're using `window.pushState` to manipulate the browser history when users navigate to new cards. To do what you suggest, we'll need to hook into the [popstate event](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/WindowEventHandlers.onpopstate)

Agreed. This is some kind of bug in the way we are constructing our xapian queries under the hood.
