This is a great launcher already. The absence of "icon and widgets" is a advantage for an launcher that is "simple and minimal".
Did you tried exFAT?

I even tried to edit HEARTBEAT_TIMEOUT to 1 and STREAM_DELAY to 9999 but nothing works.

Several years later. Timestamp. Its Unix Time. There is several converters online. Man I love this app. I hope the developer continues to improving it.
I would like to see it on f-droid too. Nice app.
