the issue could be solved by using following commands in powershell, `wsl --shutdown` `wsl` then upgrade your wsl by getting the upgradables.. then use `sudo apt upgrade` `sudo apt update`

try running `npm cache clean` then `npm rebuild`

it may be cause of incomplete cloning of the repo.. you may try by making a completely new folder and then starting from the initial cloning command
