Why do you have firmware flashing disabled? The addon requires specific firmware to run on the device and will install that specific version.
Which error are you referring to? Can you physically unplug the SkyConnect and plug it back in? Re-enable firmware flashing and run it again.
When you say "I've flashed the SkyConnect with the correct RCPMultiPAN firmware", what specific firmware did you install? Do you have ZHA disabled?
