I'm not so sure, because the slowiness was there with 3.2.0-alpha.1, and I don't think async with present at this time.
I assume this is there for historical reason. @syrusakbary any hint on why this optimisation was disabled in the first place?

You should keep DYNAREC_WAIT to 1. 0 means it will use interpreter instead of waiting for the Dynarec compiler to be ready. You can try to use DYNAREC_DIRTY to 1...
