New connectors implementation depends on maintainers and out of the scope of this issue. I can agree with, but I'm not a designer and not good in making HTML layouts....

@jlaustill and @forestlake were the guys who contributed the nodejs connector. I doubt they still use RFM. If you will not get response soon try to fix it your own...
