Just a thought here. The "[nest](https://github.com/gentoo-mirror/nest/tree/master/x11-misc/libinput-gestures)" overlay does already have _x11-misc/libinput-gestures 2.76_ with _python_single_target_python3_12_. Perhaps it may be worth checking it out? Thanks
