Same issue here with Delta 1.2b2 (iPhone XS, iOS 13.6.1, using melonDS core, buttonless4all skin and Xbox One controller).
In my most common use case for IINA, there isn't a single video where I keep both embedded and external subtitle tracks and don't prefer the latter by default.
