Issues with paper

Hi! I (as a reviewer) have some issues with the paper that prevent me from marking these as completed:

• [ ] State of the field: Do the authors describe how this software compares to other commonly-used packages?
• [ ] Quality of writing: Is the paper well written (i.e., it does not require editing for structure, language, or writing

• I don't see in the manuscript anything related to the state of the field. Are there any alternatives to Lighter? Why are they not good enough?
• The summary mentions that the framework is built on top of PyTorch Lightning and the MONAI Bundle config, but it's not clear what this config is, nor why it's used.
• The section on Adapters lacks context and intuitions on what adapters are. It starts with "The adapter pattern creates an interface [...]" but the reader doesn't know what "the adapter" interface is, and the example does not make it crystal clear. Please elaborate, keeping in mind that users will need high-level explanations of this pattern.
