it'd be neat to have a feature where users could share their hat configs by copy and pasting a long string

Currently don't know of a way to do this, but I assume they'll implement something in the near future.

Maybe best to do this when that common plugin module comes out so I can use a color picker from it.

These should change depending on whether you have copy camera or relative to camera for the rotation method on the currently selected hat.
