My bad, I didn't notice that this library is only available for x86-64, ARM32v7, or ARM64v8 (https://github.com/open-quantum-safe/liboqs/blob/main/CONFIGURE.md#oqs_dist_build) and not for x86. This might be a possible contradiction with the documentation...
