Yup there should be a validator in `build.sh` that checks which version of python is installed and run it against it.

That would be great feature but i think it would be difficult. Lets hope :)

Hmm interesting. I don't have spare k8s cluster at hand ATM to give it a try. What are the logs of the pod with the bdr?

If possible please send a PR and I can merge it. Soon I will re-visit this image and re-design it with easier versioning.
