Slynk seems to be trying to evaluate this symbol when this happens
It was how Zmacs did it and so I just assumed you could do it in Emacs as well. Although Zmacs called it Package instead of sly-local-package
In my case, it only happens with the Vulkan driver, but not the OpenGL one
forgot to mention that you need to run com-redisplay a few times to see it. although the correct text shows up right if you set force-p to t with redisplay-frame-pane...
I wonder if the output recording is taking align-x and align-y into account, as the problem disappears when i don't pass them

Ok, apparently my issue was unrelated to this bug, as the gadgets for some reason in my case were simply weren't working with incremental redisplay when trying to create them...
