I loved the handling-the-delete-event-on-watch recipe: it helped me get rid of many of the problems I was facing with my gulp setup previously.
Yep, works fine with `var`.
This error also occurs in the Chrome browser, so it's probably a v8 thing and not a Node thing. Sorry for reporting it in the wrong place.
Where should I report this considering that it's not specific to node's repl?

Yeah, it will. Irrespective of whether a custom `-h` was supplied, it will always only print the help message and exit.
A major jump in semver would be required in order to include this, I suppose.
