It's worth a look at the screenshots [from the issue mentioned above](https://github.com/jamulussoftware/jamulus/issues/2723#issuecomment-1239293096). It could be more evidence the issue isn't the Qt version itself but somewhere else in the build...

Will it understand an OGG ogv container containing the h264 video? Or use Theora?

I'd say dropping VST2 is a show-stopper currently. Meanwhile, GPLv3 is fine. Or CC BY-SA 4.0 would do me, too.
