`preferredVersion` is a suggestion from the server which is optimal to use. For some of the apis there is only one version available. It is ok to get version list...

We are find with single group interface. Here are the groups that we are interested in: `/oapi`, `/api`, `/apis/kubevirt.io` and `/apis/k8s.cni.cncf.io`. ATM we are using responses like you linked above....
