PHOIBLE data and development.
Hello, page 258 of this pdf documents the IPA inventory of a language that's not on PHOIBLE. The language is called Homshetsma or Hamshen, and it's genetically an Armenian language....
PHOIBLE uses only one source from [1950](https://phoible.org/languages/nucl1235) for the Eastern Armenian inventory. But since then, there's been a reference [grammar](https://benjamins.com/catalog/loall.14) on the language, and that grammar's inventory is pretty different...
In [component-feature-table.csv](https://github.com/phoible/dev/blob/master/raw-data/FEATURES/component-feature-table.csv), the segments ə (mid central vowel) and ɜ (open-mid central unrounded vowel) have the exact same features: ```csv ə,0259,0,-,+,-,-,-,+,+,0,+,-,-,-,-,-,0,0,-,0,0,0,+,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,+,-,-,-,0,-,-,0 ɜ,025C,0,-,+,-,-,-,+,+,0,+,-,-,-,-,-,0,0,-,0,0,0,+,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,+,-,-,-,0,-,-,0 ``` I assume that's not on purpose, given...

The phoneme "d̪ʼkxʼ" in PHOIBLE is said to be dorsal -. This seems like an error, and it should be dorsal +
When you filter by feature, the phoneme /kp/ and the phoneme /pˠ/ are identical (i.e., they cannot be singled out by features). This seems like it may be unintended, as...

Seems like basically every AusPhon bibtex entry is missing its date. Fix.
@erichround sent me a list of updated Glottolog codes and source language names for the ER inventories. todo: check these against our current mappings and update accordingly.
